2.Certificate of Liability for Horse Show Rich Belliveau brought up the issue of the Certificate of Liability Insurance that was issued for the upcoming horse show did not include members of the 501 c 3. †Richís concern was that members of the 501 c 3 and anyone else who did not sign the hold harmless agreement would not be covered. Rich was going to have the certificate amended to have the 501 c 3 members added.
3. Funding of additional horses. The board discussed a proposal to sponsor two horses for the First Company Horse Guards. A motion was made to allow up to $10,000 starting July 1, 2010 and ending June 30, 2011 for the support of two horses.† Rich St Pierre made the motion, seconded by Andrew Arsenault and approved by the board. This agreement was to run for one year starting in July 1, 2010 and supplement the state budget given to the horse guard. Members of the board raised concerns that the 501 c 3 could be expending more monies than are coming into the treasure† It was suggest this concern be discussed with Major Downes.
